Particle physics, Astrophysics, and Medical imaging

Our experimental research covers studies of high-energy proton-proton collisions at the LHC and studies of the high-energy universe with X-rays, gamma radiation and cosmic rays with satellite and balloon-borne instrumentation. On the theory side we focus on physics beyond the standard model, including the origin of neutrino masses and dark matter. We are a part of the Oskar Klein Centre for Cosmoparticle Physics and the KTH Space Center.

NEWS! In January 2024, we merged with the Physics of Medical Imaging Division. Their activities are described here . These web pages will be updated in due course.
